AWHONN Wisconsin Annual State Conference
May 3rd & 4th 2026
We have an exciting line up for speakers covering a variety of topics that keep us all current in Women’s Health and Perinatal/Neonatal Nursing. Our pre-conference this year consists of a full day event featuring Clinical Concepts in Obstetrics: Stephanie Martin & Suzanne McMurtry Baird. Topics discussed:
• Overview of maternal morbidity and mortality
• Oxygen Transport and Assessment
• Respiratory Compromise and Support
• AFE
• Sepsis and Septic Shock
• Hypertensive Disorders
• Hemorrhage, DIC and Volume Resuscitation
• Cardiac Arrest and Resuscitative Cesarean Birth .
Our General conference on May 4th will have topics from “Critical Obstetric Care in Rural Settings: Challenges and Solutions in the U.S. Health Crisis” by our Keynote speakers. Other speakers will be presenting on Caring for the Refugee Families, Debunking Social Media Myths, and Maternal Escape Rooms. Please join and celebrate with WI AWHONN Chapter.
